Enriching Young Minds
Our Mission is to instill a love of life and learning a safe, child-centered environment that foster both educational and social emotional development through a mix of engaging play-based and curriculum-focused activities.
We envision building a community of diverse families, inspired to build a strong foundation of education and values for children. We are committed to serving our students, families, community and beyond; with love and enthusiasm. We aspire to send out graduates who will care for the world and everyone in it.

Village Green Preschool was founded in 1980 by Linda Greene and Carol Hoffman as a non-profit outreach program of the First Church in Sterling. In all these years, VGP has been independently run as a nonsectarian preschool option for Sterling and surrounding towns.

Village Green offers both half-day and full-day programs, available for 2, 3 or 5 days a week. Our school year runs from September to May, with enrollment or the fall starting in January, following our annual Open House
